ROSETOWN, SK – Due to unsustainable enrolments in post-secondary and trades-based programming over the past five years, Great Plains College will be closing the office, located at the Civic Centre in Rosetown, effective June 30, 2021.
The college will continue to offer English Language and Safety Training courses and work with local organizations to meet their programming needs.
“With the sale of our commercial building in December, we simply are not generating enough business to sustain a physical presence in Rosetown,” explained region manager Fritz Eckstein. “However, we will continue to work with the community and offer programming on an as-needed basis, along with English Language and various Safety Training courses.”
“We appreciate the community’s support to date and will certainly be available to work with organizations and individuals as opportunities arise,” said Eckstein. Rosetown’s phone line will be forwarded to Kindersley Campus. To get in touch, individuals may call 306-882-4236, toll-free at 1-866-296-2472 or email info@greatplainscollege.ca.
