Entrance Requirements
- Grade 12 with a minimum 50% in English A30 and B30, Foundations 20 or Pre-Calculus 20, and any 20 level core science
- English language requirement

With courses ranging from record keeping and innovative technology, to practical field skills, your knowledge of crop production will prepare you for a career in the agriculture industry.
Career Opportunities
You'll be prepared to begin your career in a farming operation or to work in the retail agriculture sector. You may also continue your education and transfer into the second year of the Crop Technology Diploma program at Lakeland College where you will expand your knowledge of agronomy, production, precision farming and financial management, along with hands-on experience gained through a practicum or Lakeland's student-managed farm.
Earning Potential
In 2022, the wage for Agricultural representatives, consultants, and specialists in Saskatchewan was $26.71-$62.50/hour, according to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Immigration and Career Training. Employees may earn more or less depending on their employer, location, size of company, training, experience and hours worked.
Scholarship Eligible
Apply as a full-time student before April 30, you may be eligible for a $500 – $5,000 Entrance Scholarship. Apply before June 30 if you are in Grade 11 and have a 70% average, you are eligible for a $1,000 Early Entrance Award.
