Course Description
This course explores social issues confronting the state, social welfare agencies and social workers in addressing and responding to inequalities and human need. Students will also be introduced to the roles and fields of practice of Social Work in Canada and the values and ethics that guide the profession. *SW 100 should be taken as the first Social Work course.
