Elementary Statistical Concepts

Statistical concepts and techniques including graphing of distributions, measures of location and variability, measures of association, regression, probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing. Students should consult with their department before enrolling in this course to determine the status of this course in their program.

Applied Calculus 1 (U of R)

Differentiation of algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Optimization, curve sketching, and integration by substitution.

Note: Although Math 103 leads to Math 112, students who require three or more calculus-based courses should take Math 110 instead of Math 103. Students will only receive credit for one of MATH 103 or 110.
